We are writing to share some exciting news about a change to the way you access the practice. We hope this will improve how the practice delivers healthcare services to you. We will be starting a total triage system on 14 July 2025.
The main benefits are to:
• Improve access to the practice
• Enhance the quality of care our patients receive
• Ensure patients are given the most appropriate appointment or advice to meet their needs, in a timely way
We are making contact with our patients to update their preferred method of communication with the practice, for example text messaging, letter, or telephone.
Your details held on our practice system highlight that we do not have a current mobile number and/or email for you.
We would like to update this to ensure we can contact you and keep you informed about this change.
It if you can let the practice know by either:
• Sending an email to nencicb-cu.emgtriagequestions@nhs.net and providing your name, date of birth, mobile number and/or email.
• Pop into the practice and complete a contact details form.
• Contacting the practice by phone after lunch, as this is when our phone lines are quieter
For those patients who do not have a mobile and/or email, do not worry, we keep you informed.
This change will not affect the home visit request process. Request should be by telephone before 10am (where possible), to allow for clinical assessment and for a visit to be arranged if appropriate.
There are no changes to how you book nurse appointments.
Please find enclosed a copy of our patient leaflet which provides information on our new way of working.
Kind regards
Dr Stephanie Siddle (GP) & Laura Thorp (Practice Manager)
